Designer brief
From an idea to a working file.
Designer tasks
- Draw one simple original sun, without familiar characters.
- Keep one editable name field, maximum 18 characters.
- Build 2 A6 sheets of small labels and 1 A6 sheet of rounds.
- Prepare the envelope label and use card in three languages.
- Use a ready-made acrylic bag tag with the same name for the gift set.
- Do not place the Control Print logo or wordmark on products. Logo on packaging only.
Technical reference for the next phase
- For outside smooth surfaces of belongings. Do not promise fabric, laundry or dishwasher performance without testing.
- The name is used for the local preview and downloaded draft. This does not create an order or print approval.
- The two-set option repeats the same 48-label pack with the same name.
- Small labels: 40×10 mm. 18 per A6 sheet: 2 columns × 9 rows.
- Small grid: A6 105×148 mm: x=11 mm, y=17 mm; steps 43 and 13 mm. Two matching sheets make 36 labels.
- Round grid: Ø30 mm: 3 columns × 4 rows. Left 4.5 mm, top 9.5 mm; step 33 mm gives 12 rounds.
- Name: Up to 18 characters. Check legibility at actual size; do not shrink long names into unreadable type.
- Stock: Test the white self-adhesive stock for external surfaces and the required protective finish.
- Cut: Kiss-cut while keeping the A6 liner intact. No tiny separate pieces to weed.
- Tag: Ready-made acrylic bag tag, approximately 60×35 mm, and ready-made attachment. Approve thickness, hole and strength on a sample.
- Basic: 3 A6 sheets and a use card in C6.
- Two sets: Check the thickness of 6 sheets in the same envelope.
- Gift: Protect the acrylic and repeat the same name. Logo on packaging only.
- Choose language, colour and package; enter one name.
- Check spelling and the identical name on every label.
- Print 2 small-label sheets and 1 round sheet, then kiss-cut.
- Count 36 small and 12 round labels and add the use card.
- Add the ready-made named bag tag for the gift option.
- Name and language checked on an actual-size print.
- Count 48 labels, not 72.
- Test hold and removal residue on the intended surface.
- The liner is not cut through.
