How to have a successful exhibition
Preparation starts with a goal: new contacts, product demonstrations or partner meetings. Printed materials and stands should help visitors understand the offer quickly and take the next step.
Goal and floor plan
Identify who you want to meet and the action you want visitors to take. Obtain the space dimensions, floor plan, height limits, power points and installation hours. Allow room for circulation, demonstrations and conversations.
Choosing stands
A roll-up suits a short message, a pop-up a large background graphic, a press wall a photography backdrop, and a promo counter conversations and sample displays. Agree on dimensions, construction and installation conditions for the venue. A standard indoor stand is not automatically suitable for outdoor use.
Message and printed materials
Choose one clear offer and a headline readable from a distance. Business cards and booklets should provide contact details and a specific next step. Test a QR code destination on a printed sample.
Team and visitor conversations
Assign responsibility for meetings, demonstrations and materials beforehand. Prepare a brief introduction and questions to understand visitor needs. When recording a contact, note the conversation topic and agreed next step.
Schedule and results
Approve artwork, quantities, transport and installation arrangements before production. Plan a trial assembly and dismantling. After the exhibition, complete promised follow-ups and assess relevant contacts, meetings and orders.
